EuroNails — Privacy Policy
Effective 1 August 2026
This policy covers information EuroNails collects when you call or text our business number and interact with our automated assistant. It does not cover information you give us in the salon or through our booking page, which is operated by Square under its own terms.
What we collect
When you call us
- Your phone number, as provided by the telephone network.
- An audio recording of the call, and a written transcript of it. Calls are recorded. You are told this at the start of every call, before anything else, because Connecticut law requires the consent of everyone on the line. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up and visit us or email instead.
When you text us
- Your phone number.
- The content of the messages you send, and our replies.
If you ask to speak to a person
- The date and time, your phone number, and a short written summary of what you asked for, so a member of staff can call you back.
We do not ask for and have no way to accept payment card numbers, financial details, government identification, or health information through this service. Please do not send them.
What we use it for
- To answer your question about our services, prices, hours, or location.
- To text you a link to our booking page when you ask for it or agree to it.
- To let you continue a conversation you started — if you call and then text, or the other way round, we recognise your number so you do not have to repeat yourself.
- To pass a message to a member of staff when you ask to speak to a person.
We do not use it for marketing. We do not build advertising profiles.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing, advertising, or resale.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your agreement to receive a text from us is used to send you that text, and for nothing else.
Who else handles it
We use service providers to operate the assistant. They process your information only to provide their service to us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Twilio — sends and receives our text messages.
- Vapi — connects and records phone calls.
- Anthropic — provides the AI model that generates our replies.
- Speech-to-text and text-to-speech providers — convert spoken words to text and back during a call.
- Square — operates our booking page and holds our service and pricing information.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
- Conversation context — held for 6 hours after your last message, then automatically discarded. This is only so a conversation makes sense while it is happening.
- Callback requests — the phone number and summary are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Call recordings and transcripts — retained by our telephony provider under its retention settings.
- System logs — phone numbers in our logs are partially masked; the full number is never written to a log.
Your choices
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing euronailsct@gmail.com or calling (475) 445-3212. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge you.
- Avoid recording by not using the phone line — email or visit us instead.
Children
This service is intended for adults arranging salon appointments. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
